A west Belfast man arrested when an armed robbery getaway car crashed into an articulated lorry was jailed for four years yesterday at the Crown Court. Edward James McKay (33), from Distillery Street, had pleaded guilty to the armed theft of £75,000 worth of computer equipment stolen during a raid at a computer warehouse in the Duncrue Industrial Estate on February 28th, 1997.
He was also given a three-year concurrent term for false imprisonment.
