A lone, armed robber stole cash from a Co Meath bookmakers today.
Gardaí in Ashbourne are investigating the raid at Main Street Clonee at 10.45 a.m.The mane entered the premises wearing a motorcycle helmet and armed with a sawn-off shot gun and threatened staff before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.The robber escaped in a stolen Kildare registered 2003 Ford Focus car, coloured maroon.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gardaí at Ashbourne at 01 8010600.
