No one was injured when two British army checkpoints on the Fermanagh Border were attacked by gunfire late on Wednesday. At around 9.25 p.m. a high velocity shot hit a British army look out post at Killyvilly, near Roslea. A burst of gunfire followed this shot.
At 9.55 p.m., 30 rounds of automatic gunfire was directed at Clonatty Bridge permanent checkpoint.
