At least ten people have been killed in a series of bombs across Iraq today.
A car bomb killed six people at an army checkpoint near the northern Iraqi city of Tal Afar. Police said the casualties were both police and civilians.
Earlier, a roadside bomb targeting a police patrol killed three civilians and one policeman in Baghdad this morning. The attack in the Waziriya district of the capital also wounded four people.
Elsewhere, a bomb exploded near a market in the town of Kalis north of Baghdad and police said they feared casualties. There were no further details.
