A train has derailed in northern India, killing at least 10 people and injuring more than 100.
Train derails in India, killing at least 10 The thirteen-carriage train went off the tracks near Lucknow, 220 miles east of New Delhi.
The Shramjeevi Expresswas bound for Patna, the capital of eastern Bihar state. The accident occurred early in the morning when most passengers were sleeping.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
