Palestinian militants fired a missile into a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip this afternoon, wounding four people at a community centre, the Israeli army said.
Military sources said they believed a rocket hit the building at Neveh Dekalim, at the heart of the main Gush Katif settlement.
Emergency services said three were lightly injured while one of the casualties was more serious. Palestinian militants regularly lob mortars and rockets into the Gaza settlements and nearby districts of southern Israel, but fatalities are rare.
