Members of what was described as “an acclaimed band”, the Electric Penguins, have settled a row among themselves, the High Court was told yesterday.
Mr Justice Garrett Sheehan heard that the group now consisted of duo Paul Murphy and Mark Cummins following a break-up in which another member, Seán Quinn, had left three years ago.
Murphy and Cummins had gone to the High Court in June and obtained a temporary injunction against Quinn, of Lakelands, Rathfarnham, Dublin. It restrained him from making what Murphy and Cummins claimed to be false allegations that the band was involved in copyright infringement.
That injunction was discharged yesterday as part of the settlement and the whole case was struck out.
