Bank of Scotland rebrands as Halifax

Bank of Scotland Ireland has today completed the rebranding of its retail business as Halifax.

Bank of Scotland Ireland has today completed the rebranding of its retail business as Halifax.

All 23 retail branches are now Halifax branches, and the bank will begin a €12 million advertising campaign in national and regional media as well as on radio and online.

Halifax also has a current sponsorship deal with RTÉ's The Late Late Show.

Mark Duffy, chief executive of Bank of Scotland (Ireland), said: "As a retail bank we have made tremendous inroads in Ireland, and we are well on track to have 40,000 new customers by the end of our first year."
