Paris - Former actress Brigitte Bardot is seeking 500,000 francs ($80,000) in damages from ex-husband Jacques Charrier over revelations in his tell-all book.
Her lawyer, Mr Wallerand de Saint-Just, claimed the book, Ma Reponse a B.B., breached French privacy laws, notably by reproducing letters sent by Bardot to her husband. His book was written following Bardot's best-selling autobiography, Initiales BB, published last year. Ms Bardot was ordered to pay 150,000 francs to Mr Charrier for indiscretions contained in that book.
