Patrick Chapman was born in 1968 and lives in Dublin

Patrick Chapman was born in 1968 and lives in Dublin. His poetry collections are: Jazztown (Raven Arts Press, 1991), The New Pornography (Salmon, 1996), and Proximity (forthcoming). He has also written a book of stories and a novel. His work has been shortlisted twice for a Sunday Tribune Hennessy Award - in 1995 for poetry and in 1999 for fiction - and for an Ian St James fiction award. In June 2001, he collaborated with the artist Gemma Tipton, combining poetry fragments with photography for a book and an exhibition, The Foot Series - which made its dΘbut at The Basement Gallery, Dundalk. This will be showing at the Irish Writers Museum, Dublin, throughout November.
