British Prime Minister Mr Tony Blair today insisted he will not hide from the conclusionsof Lord Hutton's inquiry.
Mr Blair is under mounting pressure ahead of the law lord's report on thecircumstances surrounding Dr David Kelly's death.
Tory leader Mr Michael Howard has challenged him to face MPs in a full debate onthe findings.
Mr Blair, who will make a Commons statement and take questions on the day thereport is released, again refused to give that commitment.
However, Mr Blair told BBC1's Breakfast with Frostthat did not mean he wastrying to dodge the findings.
"It would be quite absurd if I wasn't doing the response to the Huttonreport," he said.
"The only thing we have said about the debate a week later is that all thedecisions about whether you have a vote on it or who speaks will be done at alater time.
"But I can assure you I have no intention of hiding away from this at all."On the contrary I am enthusiastic about being at long last able to debatethese issues on the basis of an objective, independent judgment by a judgerather than speculation," he added.
