Former British prime minister Tony Blair has joined the board of the World Economic Forum, the Geneva-based organisation said today.
"Tony Blair brings to the forum a tremendous wealth of experience and knowledge in all areas of the global agenda, and he certainly will be very essential to shape our activities," Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the WEF, said in a statement.
Mr Blair attended several annual meetings of the WEF in Davos, Switzerland, while he was prime minister.
