London - The British Prime Minister, Mr Blair, yesterday welcomed the resumption of Inquiry into the death of black teenager Stephen Lawrence and told the Commons he believed the vast majority of people wanted nothing to do with racism.
The inquiry was announced last summer to look into "matters arising" from the murder of Lawrence (18) in south-east London, in what police said was a racist attack. Five men have at various times have been charged with the 1993 murder but no one has been convicted.
