Relatives of the victims of Bloody Sunday are to attend a special screening of a new film based on the event in Derry tomorrow.

Northern Ireland actor James Nesbitt plays a civil rights activist in the ITV movie called Bloody Sunday.

The stg£3m production was made with the help of a £250,000 grant from the British National Lottery fund.

It is due to be launched later this month at the Sundance film festival in the US.

The film will be screened on TV at the end of January and be released to cinemas following its TV premiere.
