Madrid - Four bodies washed up on Spain's north-west coast may be some of the 70 or so victims of a bridge collapse more than 200 km away on the River Douro in Portugal, a spokesman for the regional government of Galicia said yesterday.
The remains of a bus seat found in the area along with clothing made in Portugal suggest the victims - the occupants of a bus and several cars that fell into the river when a bridge collapsed - may have been swept into the sea.
