Gardai have confirmed that the remains found in Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, on Sunday are those of a missing Co Fermanagh businessman, writes Monika Unsworth. Mr Gerard McGinley (35), from Manorhamilton, went missing on August 13th last.
Mr McGinley's wife, Ms Julie McGinley (29), of Windmill Heights, Enniskillen, and his business partner, Mr Michael Monaghan (42), as well as a third man, Mr Patrick McPadden, have been charged with his murder. Both men have addresses in Enniskillen. All three deny the charges.
