The body of a young girl was recovered yesterday evening from the sea at Newtown Cove near Tramore, Co Waterford, by the marine rescue services, and brought to Ardkeen Hospital in Waterford City where a post mortem will be carried out. Gardai did not name the girl but said a Tramore girl had been reported missing at the weekend.
