Bohemians and TV3 are currently in negotiations to determine whether Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Halmstads will be televised live.

Talks began this afternoon after Bohs, whose famous 1-0 win over Kaiserslautern last year was not captured live by Irish cameras, expressed their disappointment over a perceived lack of interest in the game from national broadcasters.TV3 own the broadcast rights for the tournament’s group stages and showed highlights of Bohs first round victory over Levadia Maardu earlier this month.

Dublin rivals Shelbourne signed a deal with RTE last year which will mean the home and away legs of their forthcoming UEFA cup tie against Brondby will be covered live.Bohs have no such agreement.

The match against Halmstads, champions of Sweden, kicks off at 7:45 p.m. at Dalymount Park this Wednesday. Some tickets are still available.
