A bomb alert disrupted the work of the tribunal for a short time yesterday. Shortly after 11 a.m., the chairman, Mr Justice Flood, adjourned proceedings after receiving an "urgent message".
Lawyers, press and several hundred people were then advised to leave the hall in Dublin Castle. About 15 minutes later, Garda detectives declared the alert a hoax and the tribunal resumed. Mr James Gogarty's cross-examination continues today at 10 a.m.
