A bomb that exploded as passengers were leaving a boat in central Colombia killed six people including the woman who was carrying the device and a baby, the army said.
The explosion wounded more than two dozen people in the riverside village of Puerto Rico, where government troops have been battling rebels of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, known as the FARC.
Government troops were under rebel fire in the area as the boat carrying 56 passengers on the Ariari River approached the town's docks.
As the passengers got out, a package being carried by one of them blew up, instantly killing her, another person and a baby. Three other people died of their wounds a short time later, officials said.
