British Army bomb experts defused a bomb last night which was found under the car of a Sinn Fein councillor in Co Antrim.
A controlled explosion was carried out on the device, which was attached to the car of a Moyle councillor, Mr James McCarry, on the Glenshesk Road in Ballycastle.
An RUC spokesman said the device contained around 1.5 lb of commercial explosives. It was spotted at around 6 p.m. by Mr McCarry.
