As with the Graves recommended left I'm bound to say: whether you're in wine club mode or not, go out and buy Edgewood Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1995 (selected Dunnes Stores, £11.99) to share with friends over dinner. Because, while some Californian Cabernets are just too lush for their own good, this elegant wine has enough tangy acidity and well judged tannin to make it really attractive. And you may forget about blind tasting. The bottle's much too handsome.
