British police will question the chief suspect in an inquiry into two double murders after he was discharged from hospital today.
Mr Mark Hobson (34) was arrested on Sunday after a week-long nationwide manhunt at a petrol station near the scene of the crimes in North Yorkshire.
He was immediately taken to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment for dehydration and minor abrasions.
He was released from hospital today and brought to Harrogate police station for questioning about the murder of twin sisters Claire and Diane Sanderson (27) who were found dead in an apartment in the village of Camblesforth.
Later the same day, the bodies of an elderly couple, Mr James Britton (80) and his wife Joan (82), were found stabbed and beaten to death in the nearby village of Strensall. Police say both killings are linked.
