The High Court in Edinburgh yesterday granted "interim liberation" to two men from Northern Ireland serving three months for a breach of the peace and contravention of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, pending completion of an appeal against their sentences.
Brothers Raymond (39) and James Barrow (41) were released from Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow yesterday afternoon and travelled back to Derry after the High Court accepted an application for their temporary release.
