A British Telecom telephone operator accused of hacking into telephone accounts of the RUC Chief Constable and a lawyer also targeted the accounts of loyalist political leaders, it was claimed yesterday. Belfast Crown Court heard that Mr Paul Edwards used his BT computer to monitor the accounts of the UDP leader, Mr Gary McMichael, the PUP Assemblyman, Mr David Irvine, and the Ulster Unionist, Mr Jeffrey Donaldson.
