Cape Town - Bush fires that raged through South Africa on Tuesday and yesterday have killed at least 28 people, 19 of them in the Kruger National Park.
A bush fire in the wildlife park, which started on Tuesday, killed 15 villagers and four game rangers who died trying to save them, the park said yesterday.
Nine more people, including six children, died in two separate bush fires fanned by strong winds in the eastern KwaZulu-Natal province late yesterday.
