Paul Caffrey will remain as Dublin manager for at least another 12 months, the Dublin county board confirmed this evening.
Caffrey's future had been in doubt following his side's defeat by Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-finals, not least because his three year term had concluded.
But the county board have opted against a change in the management team, preferring instead to offer Caffrey one more shot at an All-Ireland title.
"The Dublin County Committee agreed unanimously at their monthly meeting night to reappoint the outgoing senior football management team for 2008," read a brief statement released by the board.
