A search will resume tomorrow in Dublin's Grand Canal for the body of missing teenager David White.
Mr White and his friend, Shane Coughlan, both 18, disappeared in the early hours of Sunday morning. Mr Coughlan's body was recovered from the canal at Clondalkin on Wednesday afternoon by a team of garda sub-aqua divers.
A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from drowning. Gardai began searching for the friends between the ninth and 11th lock when a shoe, similar to that worn by one of the missing men, was discovered near the canal.
The search was extended today to cover a wider section of the water and the canal bank. The men had been last seen leaving a friend's house in Clondalkin at about 4.30am on Sunday morning.
