A car bomb killed at least six people, including one police officer, and wounded several others in the Iraqi city of Ramadi today.
Police said the car bomb exploded outside a courthouse being guarded by police.
Car bombs have become rare in Ramadi, the capital of western Anbar province, since Sunni Arab tribal sheikhs joined forces with the US military to secure a region that had once been the heart of the Sunni Arab insurgency in Iraq.
Ramadi lies 110 kilometres west of Baghdad.
