Hibernian 1 Celtic 4
Celtic remain top of the Scottish Premier League after a convincing 4-1 win at Hibernian today.
Martin O'Neill's men, who booked their place in the Champions League group stages in midweek, wrapped up the game with an overwhelming first half display which saw them cruise into a 4-0 lead.
Paul Lambert played a quick free-kick to Lubomir Moravcik near the touchline after 16 minutes and the Slovakian produced a stunning strike which looped over Nick Colgan and into the top corner.
A minute later Ulrik Laursen's attempted back-pass to Franck Sauzee was intercepted by Chris Sutton and the former Chelsea striker slotted home the second.
Hibernian's misery was compounded in the 20th minute as Sutton grabbed his second and Celtic's third.
Didier Agathe played the ball in field to Moravcik and he played a lovely pass into Sutton who drilled a low shot past Colgan into the bottom corner.
Swedish international Henrik Larsson grabbed the fourth before the interval with Paul Fenwick heading home a late consolation goal for the home side.
Hearts midfielder Scott Severin scored a brilliant second-half strike to give his side a narrow 1-0 win at Dunfermline.
Aberdeen striker Hicham Zerouali missed a penalty for Aberdeen in their 1-1 draw at St Johnstone.
Elsewhere, Motherwell were held 0-0 at home to Livingston.
