The autumn schedule for new TV station Channel 6 was published today.
The station said today it was adding two Irish-produced music shows bringing to seven the number of programmes produced by Irish companies.
However, the channel continues to rely heavily on US-made shows and its autumn schedule includes a number of new US programmes.

The channel is also continuing popular existing programmes the Sopranos, 24and Prison Break.
During its first six months Channel 6 claims to have an audience share of 1.2 per cent nationally among 15 to 34 year-olds in multi-channel households. The station does not have details of its overall national audience share.
Michael Murphy, Channel 6 founder, said more than 40 per cent of the station's audience was in its target demographic.
"Six months on, Channel 6 is delivering on its promise to provide the Irish viewer with a pure entertainment alternative to other Irish networks," said Mr Murphy.
To support its new schedule the channel is starting an advertising campaign over the weekend.
