A dozen people will take off on vintage Honda 50s from the Top of the Coom, 1,043ft above sea level, near Kilgarvan, Co Kerry, in August and travel to the Tan Hill Inn – 1,732 ft – in Yorkshire to raise funds for Kilgarvan’s Rockmount Alzheimer’s centre.

Electric bikes will also take part in the event, which continues from August 26th to 29th.
