Chelsea have appealed against Joe Cole's two-match ban, which was imposed for an incident while he was a West Ham player.
Cole was fined £15,000 and suspended for two matches by the Football Association for his involvement in a fracas at the end of the Hammers' Premiership game at Bolton last season.
Players from both sides squared up at the end of the 1-0 defeat and Cole was seen to throw punches in the direction of Bernard Mendy.
Cole will make a personal appearance before an FA disciplinary panel in the new year.
