Washington - US Customs agents and Moscow police have dismantled a child pornography business operating via the Internet, and arrested four suspected customers in the United States, the US Customs Service said yesterday.

Operating out of Moscow under the trade-name Blue Orchid, the business produced and distributed, via a website, videos showing physical and sexual abuse of boys aged eight years and older, said Mr Kevin Delli-Colli, director of the US Customs Cyber Smuggling Center. The videos were mainly sold to customers in the US. The Moscow police in May requested US help in finding out who was behind the business. In a sting operation, the Cyber Smuggling Center made an undercover purchase from the website, and helped the Russian officers follow the trail back to the pornographers, Mr Delli-Colli said.
