Chez Emily Chocolates are made by Ferdinard Vandaele and Helena Hemeryck. They have a stall on Saturdays at Dublin's Temple Bar Market. Distributors include the Good Food Shop on Pembroke Lane, and the Farm Shop in Georges Street Arcade. Sold loose, they are 20p per chocolate. Contact 01-8352252.

Druid Chocolates are made by Gareth Vaughan and Ana Marcos. Distributors include McCabes in Donnybrook, Cavistons in Glasthule, and selected Tesco outlets. So far, outlets are all Dublin-based. A 17-piece box is £6.25. Contact 01-6174802.

Butlers Irish Chocolates are owned by Colm and Mairead Sorensen. They have two shops in Dublin: one is on Grafton Street, the other is the new Chocolate Cafe at Wicklow Street.
