The Alliance Lord Mayor of Belfast, Mr David Alderdice, has said that Christmas is a time of hope. "No matter what political, social or religious views you have, you may agree the heart of the Christmas message is one of hope. Hope that inside all of us there is a person who desires to help our fellow human beings," he said.
