Paris - Brazzaville government troops and opposing militias are perpetrating "blind and massive violence" against civilians in the Congo, Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) alleged yesterday.
MSF, this year's Nobel Peace Prize laureate, released a report entitled Chronicle of a War Behind Closed Doors charging that more than 250,000 people who fled fighting to hide out in forests in the Pool region south of Brazzaville had become defacto hostages of militiamen.
