A US multinational is to shed 138 jobs at its facility in north Dublin

A US multinational is to shed 138 jobs at its facility in north Dublin. ClientLogic, whose Irish base is located in Swords, provides multilingual technical support and customer care services for a number of international companies in the IT and healthcare industries.

Staff in Swords were informed yesterday that the decision was made because some business was being moved to Germany and some to other companies. It is understood that the company will retain around 400 employees in Dublin.

The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin, is to instruct State agencies to help find replacement work for those affected by the redundancies.
