Washington - The US President, Mr Clinton, warned Iraq yesterday that "all options are on the table", including military action, for forcing Baghdad to accede to UN demands. He spoke as his Defence Secretary, Mr William Cohen, reported finding Gulf Arab states "united in their condemnation of Iraq's latest defiance".
Asked if he was concerned about reports that some states were cool to the idea of tougher action against Iraq, Mr Clinton said it was his understanding that Mr Cohen had a good trip.
The US has an aircraft carrier, Eisenhower, and 20 other combat and support ships in and near the Gulf.
