DAKAR - The US First Lady, Mrs Hillary Rodham Clinton, and her daughter, Chelsea, yesterday visited a slave house "door of no return" which was the exit point for Africans bound for slavery in the US.
It was, Mrs Clinton said later, "one of the most heart breaking monuments of anywhere in the world".
The Clintons, starting a two week tour of Africa in Senegal, visited Goree Island, one of many coastal enclaves on Africa's western bulge where European slave traders processed millions of slaves.
