Kerry-based CNG Travel Group said today it returned to profit in the first six-months of the year.
CNG said its operating profit was $2.1 million, compared to an operating loss of $6.7 million for same period last year. Turnover was up by $500,000 from $23 milion to $23.5 million.
Pre-tax profits were $1.4m, compared with a $21.9m loss in the same period last year.
CNG chairman Luke Mooney said: "It is heartening to see that the company has reported a profit for the first half of 2006, which represents a significant improvement in the company's financial position."
