Two units of Bray coastguard failed to find any trace of a man who it was suspected might be in the sea somewhere between Bray Head and Greystones yesterday.

The Marine Rescue Service was alerted after a man's boot had been found on the cliff walk between Bray and Greystones just after 7.30 a.m.

The body of a 30-year-old man was taken from the Shannon yesterday morning by the Bunratty search-and-rescue unit. The man's name had not been released last night.

The body of another 30-year-old man was recovered from the Suir near Clonmel. He had been missing since February 23rd, the Garda said.
