A call-centre company has announced it is to create 900 jobs in the North. Gem will receive £5.5m of grant assistance from Invest Northern Ireland for the jobs expansion.
The new positions will customer service agents, sales agents, technical support and managerial positions. The company said it would generate £14m annually in salaries.
Gem currently has sites in Belfast and Derry - where 1,000 people are employed - but the new jobs will be in other locations.
The company, which was set up in 2000, is a privately owned outsource contact centre based in Belfast.
