Concern deepens for missing Waterford woman

Fears were growing today for the safety of a Waterford woman who went missing a week ago.

Fears were growing today for the safety of a Waterford woman who went missing a week ago.

New appeals have been made for information on the whereabouts of Margaret Walsh who disappeared last weekend.

Ms Walsh, known as Meg, was last seen in the early hours of last Sunday morning after a night out with friends at the Woodlands Hotel.

Her car — a Silver Mitsubishi Carisma saloon, registration number 01 W 2060 — moved from outside her home on Sunday evening and was discovered three days later at a car-park more than a mile from her home.

The 35-year-old mother-of-one is described as being 5ft 6in tall, slim build with shoulder-length blonde hair.

When last seen she was wearing brown jeans, a brown V-neck jumper with a fawn stripe across the front and brown boots.
