Connacht coach Michael Bradley has warned of a French backlash as the province prepare for the second leg of their Parker Pen European Challenge Cup tie against Beziers on Saturday.

Connacht will take an 18-10 lead into the Sportsground showdown but Bradley warns, the job is only half done:

"Eight points is nothing. They had their chances to go into the second leg with points in the bank but our defence was very strong. Their pack is formidable in size and we must make sure they don¹t get either their maul or scrum going," said Bradley who was still keen to heap praise on his men.

"We are in the position we want to be. We have won the away leg, we are playing at home in the Galway Sportsground and we know more about their strengths and weaknesses. They are not such an unknown quantity.

"We were efficient in what we did, we kept the pressure on and got the penalties. It was a tough game and we are expecting more of the same on Saturday," he added.

Connacht have made two changes for the return leg. Conor O¹Loughlin comes into the side at scrum-half, while Paul Neville returns from injury and will start at openside wing forward.
