Connacht 31 Ulster 20
Connacht went within touching distance of the top of the Celtic League table as they played hosts to form side Ulster at the Sportsground in Galway this afternoon.
Mark McHugh was the homeside's hero with seven from the boot, totaling 21 points. A converted Matt Mostyn try and an additional penalty from veteran Eric Elwood pushed Connacht out of sight of their high profile guests.
Ulster managed two tries through Ryan Constable, both of which were converted by Adam Larkin, but even a further two penalties from the outhalf failed to turn it in their favour.
