CafetiéresWhat the hell is a "cafetiére" and what does it do that a humble coffee pot can't (other than apparently impress your friends). - Colm
Movie downloads
A big part of the problem is user-hostile Digital Rights Management technology, which seems to help providers while causing nothing but hassle for people trying to watch the video. For example, from the Xbox 360 set-up: "The films can only be watched once." What a nightmare! What happens if there's a power-cut halfway through, or if I am watching a movie and my wife arrives mid-film and wants to watch it too? Would we then have to pay twice? The inconvenience of that kind of thing is one reason why people are going for the more convenient (but illegal) BitTorrent option. - Justin
Aer Lingus
Could you please, please, do a big fat exposé on the latest Aer Lingus rip-off? Now, when booking online, not only do you have to pay for baggage and seating (where is the difference from Ryanair?), but guess what, there's also a new "handling fee" of €6 per person! I was booking flights down to Faro, in Portugal, for myself and my family and was pretty disgusted at this new additional charge. Between luggage, seating and handling charges, I estimate it adds another €20 each way per passenger. Shame on you, Aer Lingus! Seriously, when will it ever end? - Deborah Martin
