O2 has launched a new SIM card back-up service that will allow customers to retrieve key contacts and numbers if they lose or damage their mobile phone. With the new service, your numbers are backed up to a secure server on the O2 network and customers can then access this data on O2.ie through the "My O2" function. The service costs €2 for an initial back-up of up to 250 contacts and 50 cent for each update thereafter.
