The Cinnamon Club in London has created a lamb-based dish which it has submitted to the Guinness Book of Records in a bid to have it recognised as the world's hottest curry.
The Bollywood Burner includes the Naga pepper and its seeds, which is over 100 times hotter than the jalapeño pepper that measures 8,000 on the scale. Diners are asked to sign a disclaimer saying they are aware of the nature and risks involved with tasting the curry before eating it. Sounds like way too much bother to us.
