A Co Waterford couple has been granted permission by An Bord Pleanála to be buried in their own private graveyard alongside their pets.
The couple, Clive and Suzanne Holmes, who are originally from England, live at Comeragh House, Kilmacthomas, Co Waterford.
They began developing a graveyard for their pets and animals on the estate 15 years ago.
The graves contains the remains of horses, cats and dogs, all complete with headstones.

When the couple applied to Waterford County Council for planning permission for a private consecrated burial ground - where they would eventually be buried themselves - they were turned down.
Ms Holmes appealed the county council's decision to An Bord Pleanála which earlier this week granted planning permission.
